The Lincolnshire Show Schools' Challenge allows teams of students to work on one of ten challenges before attending the Lincolnshire Show on 20 and 21 June 2018 to present their challenge findings to a panel of experts, whilst competing for the title of Schools’ Challenge champions. This year's challenges include links to the curriculum, national events such as the WW1 Centenary, and a new focus to some of the most popular gardening and food preparation challenges.
There is no financial cost to enter the Schools’ Challenge, and participating schools are entitled to 15 free student tickets and two free adult tickets for both days of the Lincolnshire Show. You will have the opportunity to be supported throughout the challenge by a business mentor and your school may also be eligible for grant funding.
How to Enter
To enter the Schools’ Challenge, please complete and return an expression of interest form and confirm your participation by Friday 30 March 2018. You will then be sent guidance notes to help your students through their chosen challenge, ready to compete to be a Schools' Challenge champion at the Lincolnshire Show 2018.
Places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. To guarantee a place for your school we recommend that you confirm as soon as possible.
