Lee Patterson joined The EBP as a Board Director in June 2004 and was elected as Chair of the Board in January 2006. He is the Managing Director of RHG Consult Ltd, a management and training consultancy based in Oakham. Lee is also a Director of Rutland Reclaim an architectural salvage and design company which recycles waste materials into 'one-off' designs. He enjoys keeping fit and has cycled 350 miles in 5 days across Death Valley, California and run in the London Marathon.
Neil Shears joined the board of The EBP as a Non-Executive Director in 2005. He has worked in the Hospitality industry for over 25 years and currently works for Hilton Worldwide as a General Manager at Hilton Watford. Neil has three children and in his spare time coaches youth football, he currently holds an FA level 1 coaching qualification.
Andy Hey joined The EBP board in September 2001. He is a Chartered Surveyor and Planning Consultant whose favoured pastimes are Test Cricket (watching, not playing), Luton Town FC (same again), gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
Andrew Harwood has been working with The EBP since its formation in 2001, originally as a Director, and now as the Company Secretary. An accountant by profession, he is retired from full-time work but actively supports a number of Stamford charities and enjoys playing tennis and bridge. You're guaranteed a smile when Leicester Tigers are winning or the grandson is visiting.
Alison Smith joined the Board of The EBP as a Non-Executive Director in November 2017. She completed 30 years’ service with Lincolnshire Police, as a Detective Constable and Detective Sergeant within the public protection department, where she specialised in safeguarding and child and adult protection. Alison was awarded the Inspirational Woman in Policing Award in 2013. Currently, Alison works part-time for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Advocacy Service, delivering Safeguarding and CSE training. Alison has a Cert. Ed. Degree and is a qualified Child and Young Person Advocate.
Haydn Beeken joined the Board of The EBP as a Non-Executive Director in November 2017. Haydn worked with the Department for Work and Pensions for 44 years before becoming Director for the Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire Government Office. He followed this by becoming a Director of Operations in the energy sector before his retirement in 2016. Haydn is an experienced Board member and served on the Board both as both a member and Chair of Bishop Grosseteste University. He is currently serving on the Board of Lincoln College, where he is Chair of the Performance and Quality Committee and joint Vice Chair of the Board. Haydn is married with two children and four grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys amateur theatre and travelling.
