The EBP was delighted to help celebrate the achievement of teachers and students at the annual Lincolnshire Media Education Awards.
During the ceremony, held on Monday 4 July at the University of Lincoln’s Engine Shed, The EBP sponsored two of the 19 awards. Phil Everett, The EBP’s Communications Manager, presented the Secondary Arts Award to Miriam Hutchinson from The Priory Academy LSST. Miriam was given the award as she has progressed immensely in her art studies this year and was even chosen to paint LSST’s Lincoln Knights’ Education Trail sculpture. The judges said her enthusiasm and dedication to develop, as well as the outstanding quality of her work, along with her willingness to assist younger students in their own learning, makes her a really unique artistic talent.
Phil was also on hand to present the Secondary Young Author of the Year Award to Chloe Chuck of De Aston School. Chloe was presented with the award for the maturity and wisdom she displays in her writing. Phil also presented the highly commended award to Lucy Mason of North Kesteven School.
